Gosh I adore Patrice & Harlee.

Their Dunsborough wedding was the epitome of a what makes a good wedding.

A day centred around family, friends and the biggest most genuine love for another. Non-stop laughter, loads of smooching and with the champagne flowing, I truly hit wedding photographer jackpot with this one!

Dare you to take a look at these photos without smiling!

Adriana & Joe's April wedding in the heart of Margaret River was a celebration filled with all the cheer (and a bucket load of style) a good wedding brings.

In the week leading into their wedding, the weather threatened to be a washout - the first big weather front of the year was predicted. It didn't rain once. Not even a drop. So rather then run from the rain, we chased the light. It was all kinds of lovely.

The team make the dream, and some of WA's finest wedding suppliers were involved in this amazing celebration. Special thanks to my gal pal Rae Marie Threnoworth for shooting this wedding alongside me.

"You can never be too glamorous”

I have been wanting to share this gorgeous Perth wedding on my website for the longest time, and am so excited to finally have the time to sit down and share it in all of it's glamorous glory!

Anthony & Jess were total babes to work with. In fact they were absolutely delightful, and the icing on the cake was that they pulled together one of the most stylish weddings I've had the pleasure of photographing.

I'll let the photos do the talking, but a wedding like this doesn't happen without an army of some of Perth's best wedding suppliers. See below for the dream team....

"A good life is a collection of happy moments”

I have been wanting to feature Elyse & Al's wedding on my website for the longest time. I photographed their Margaret River wedding bonanza back in November last year, and it's just too lovely to not share!

Their wedding was elegant and full of charm and laughter. With a ceremony at the St Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Margaret River, the celebrations then continued on to Al's family farm affectionately known as 'the block' for a reception in the shed. The Bohemian Flower Collective created the most gorgeous florals and Elyse was elegance personified in her Sarah Seven dress.

Here's a little peek of this stylish celebration.

Special thanks to the gorgeous Jenna Mason, who photographed this wedding alongside me.

"When we have each other, we have everything”

Three years ago I photographed their wedding and recently I photographed their beautiful little family. What a privilege and absolute delight to capture the different stages of my clients lives. These guys are my favourites.... Introducing the Brennan's.

Here's a short little slideshow I put together so they could relive the memories from our afternoon spent adventuring in the woods xxx

"Then one day, when you least expect it, the great adventure finds you.” – Ewan Mcgregor

These guys are my favourites. Trusting my vision for their photos without hesitation, we drove to Lancelin and took photos in the dunes before finishing our shoot with a sunset in the forrest. There is something so special about getting off the beaten track and making magic on the path less travelled.

If this shoot was anything to go by, I can't wait for these guys August wedding!

Relaxed, fun, festive and full of laughs... that's how I would sum up the down south wedding of Lou & Jono.

An absolutely gorgeous couple, their wedding was a total hoot! They exchanged vows in an Olive Grove surrounded by their nearest and dearest and then took the celebrations to Eagle Bay Brewery to party up a storm with a cocktail reception.

Here's a glimpse into what was a bloody good wedding!

Wow, that was a lovely suprise!

Yesterday I was emailed by the Editor of Australia's Capture Magazine, to advise me that my photography had been Commended in this year's Wedding category for the 2017 Australia’s Top Emerging Photographers competition.

In 2017, the awards received more than 800 portfolios and 4,800 images, so being shortlisted and making the Commended list is a wonderful recognition of how my work has evolved this season.....  I really put my heart and soul into my work (and spend a lot of time away from my little family during wedding season), so to be recognised alongside some of Australia's most talented photographers (many of whom are also my friends) is such an honour. Special thanks to my beautiful clients for entrusting me with the honour of documenting their weddings x

These are the images I submitted to the competition.

GOOD VIBES ONLY... Bunker Bay Farm Wedding

I smiled, danced and laughed A LOT at this wedding!

Richie and Kayley's Bunker Bay Farm wedding was one of the most fun wedding's I have ever photographed... these guys know how to host one hell of a party!

Residing in Sydney, Richie and Kayley were joined by around 70 of their friends and family for a destination wedding that was off the hook amazing - thanks to the sweet beats of Regan Derry I actually felt like I was at a gig I would have paid money to attend!

Planning a wedding from the other side of the country is no mean feat, but these guys connected with some truly amazing vendors to create a wedding that gave their guests the most enjoyable day and evening.

Richie & Kayley, thank you for being nothing short of delightful - you are both a breath of fresh air and I'm so thankful that you trusted me to capture your wedding. And a special thanks to my right-hand lady Michelle Troop who photographed this wedding with me and totally owned the dance floor later in the night!

Luke + Shannon

The North Fremantle wedding of Luke and Shannon hit me right in the feels. It was beautifully simple, unpretentious, relaxed and absolutely lovely - just like Luke & Shannon.

I had such a wonderful time photographing this wedding. We wandered the streets of North Freo without much of a plan and found beautiful little nooks of light in the most random of locations. It was such a pleasure to be given permission to shoot in such a genuine documentary style and capture moments that were honest and unprompted.

Here's a few of my favourites from this sweet and simple March wedding.

Winter weddings are where it's at!

I came home from Wynne and Chris's wedding with sore cheeks from smiling so much and a seriously muddy pair of boots. Let's just say it was a good day at the office! It was also my first time photographing a Chinese Tea Ceremony and wow it was such a joyful part of the day.
